First time I saw Mad Max I couldn't believe it....they had cameras mounted on the bikes and you could see the speedos well into the 120s. But of course, there's "Bullit." I haven't seen this new film, but I think the Bullit chase is one of the best, if not the best, ever. Yeah, the cars are dated, but everytime I see that film I get the sensation of those cars going up and down those hills in S.F.
I remember seeing a film when I was a kid called "Redline 7000." Can't remember if it was any good....probably not, but that title has always been in my head.
Vanishing Point....yeah, I saw that when it came out. the era of Mopar Muscle cars.....pistol grip Hurst 4 speed....would be nice to think it was a Hemi, but more likely a 440 with 3 deuces. I think it was a Challenger he was driving. Viscious ending.
