Your results are encouraging, and you definitely should see some MPG improvement. I only have their Omni Magnum, and saw a greater than 10% increase in fuel economy. I too noticed smoother running and revving. Not a huge power difference, but I have a turbo already, and my Omni is lowly compared to the Ice Pak. :)
0.055" is a pretty big gap, but yours being a non-turbo, should work quite well. They say you want the biggest gap while not getting any missing under high rpm/high load, to maximize your MPG. In my car that was 0.050 with about 12 psi max boost. But, seeing as I cranked the boost up to 22 psi max, I now have the gap just barely larger than stock, at 0.030".
