Well i even surprised myself...I bought my first car today...with my OWN money, so i better not get any ingrate comments. At 18 i thought i would buy myself a little toy and since i got such a good deal i consider it an investment...
And The Prize is as Follows:
1973 Datsun 240Z
78,674 orig mi
original engine
original interior with NO fading at all
perfect condition mechanically
orig. wood steering wheel and shift knob
unfortunatly not the original wheels but included were 5 Shelby Cobra wheels and center caps, one wheel and center cap were bought by owner incase one was ever scratched or bent...he believes they are made of magnesium
These cars are known for rust...NO body rust or frame just two small bubbles around the rear wheel well
frame was professionally rebuilt with galvanized steel and then triple coat z-barted
AND BEST OF ALL IT IS MY FIRST MANUAL TRANNY-4sp!
Love my SAAB but you should see the looks i get driving this beautiful machine and the sound of a carbourated inline six is heartstopping!
Thought you guys would be proud of me for using my OWN money...chrissx! No more harassment for being the spoiled kid with the 9-3. IF i keep this car in as good a shape that my saab is i will never lose the money i have invested in it. The car is already a classic car status in two years it will be of classic antique status.
thanks for all the help, info, and lessons you have taught me on the TSN...i will still check back, i do still have the saab, but my love has been swayed by a 27 year older women...a beautiful white 2 seater datsun roadster.
CHEERS!
