I have the Aero wheel on my 1986 SPG, and tried both 45 and 50 series. My car has the old Group 6 springs, I don't know who made them - they are low and purple.

205/50/16 Falken GRBetas - rubbing all 4 outer wheel arches under hard cornering or hitting a big bump or dip. Nothing major, just a polishing of the inside of the lip of the arch. I don't have the later SPG lip extensions either.

205/45/16 Michelin Pilot Mxx3's - no rubbing at any time. Small size is noticeable to the eye, and noticeable on the highway. Engine revs at highway speeds are a little buzzy...3000-3400 rpms.

...Next time around, I'm going back to 205/50/16. Damien
