The stage #1 APC box will perform a whole lot better with the 3.0 FPR installed along with it. I'd say with the APC, 3.0 FPR, and the K&N filter your looking at a solid 20 BHP more than you got now. That's depending on whether the car is otherwide in good shape. You can do all those mods listed above for less than $500 bucks. I've done those mods and they are great, others here have done much, much more and are easily getting twice that in a power increase because of it. It can get expensive doing all these things and trying to keep on top of the regular stuff that these older cars need but, it's worth it. Those items are a good place to start for a stage #1 upgrade. Then it'll be time to move on to the stage #2. That would go into larger injectors, ignition upgrades, exhaust systems, bigger turbos, and head work, and so on.
Good Luck, Phil
