Hi Chet,
Try the SPG9 AID. I had the SPG9 APC II, RRFPR, 24lb injectors and K&N filter. I could reach about 1/2 red before starting the 'boost boogie'. Hot weather (i'm in the Napa Valley, CA) would kill performance even further.
I installed the AID last week, set the timing to 20BTDC and whammo! I can hold full red boost in third and fourth, even getting about 1/4 red in second. With being able to advance the timing I get great torque off-boost which makes the car (c900T conv. 1993)far livelier. Although the hot weather (107 degrees F on Tuesday) still plays a factor in the cars performance, it runs much harder.
I know the number of upgrades available for our cars are numerous and expensive and as you tweak one area it highlights a weekness in another, but taken as a whole the results are very impressive.
