I have had both cars starting with an 88' 9000 Turbo. The 9K is a great cruising car especially on the highway. However when you get into the twisty bits on your favorite backroad and its a bit of a handful. The 9K holds the road but has a lot of body lean and has the ability to pull a VW move by pulling up its inside rear wheel thru hard corners. I had a few people telling me about this during tha 97' Conventionn in New Hampshire. The SPG on the other hand is a much tighter and more nimble car. Throwing my SPG around Limerock last summer let me really know how deep I can go with this car. I love just going thru the twisty bits in this car, it blows away my 9K even after I modified the suspension in it. I don't think I'll ever get rid of my SPG.
