I sometimes envy all these posts by guys who seem to race some hot Audi or M3 every time they come to a stop light. Seems every time I come to a stop light I'm looking across at some soccer mom in her Grand Caravan wiping her six kids' noses. Anyway, as I'm a commuter with a 94 Aero, I'm heading home down a country highway enroute chez moi, when this souped up looking Acura with a big fin (tastefully done I'll add and not too ricey) comes roaring up behind me. I would never have noticed him in the city, but out where I live it's mostly hay wagons towed by F350 diesels. I was initially impressed with the rate that he was coming up behind me as I was already doing a comfortable 130km/hr.; but as he starts to pass I nudged the throttle until my boost came up. Even with all that steam he never had a chance. To put him in his place I soared off to about 200km/hr and put a few dozen car lengths between us, then slowed down til he caught up with me around 160 km/hr. He goes to pass again so I repeated the process. We did this a few times til it got old, and I slowed down to 120 km/hr and waved him by. He waved back and zipped off with a blatt from his monster exhaust. Hey, this is fun stuff! Sure would be fun to race a Viggen.

Call me jaded, but I've gotten to the point where I had become accustomed to the power of my Aero, and didn't really consider it all that fast anymore. Compared to this suped up Acura though....
