Yesterday I pulled up behind a brand new modified WRX. I was pretty surprised when I pulled up behind a it and it had a deep rumble. I dont think it had a cat on it. I had heard of a guy from the dealer that just bought a new WRX and was already modifying it, and I think this was he. So I wanted to get an idea about how fast this thing was, so I downshifted into 2nd and raced by him. He didnt seem to react, but then as we went under a freeway underpass, I heard him let it go. He was comming up quickly behind me, trying to pass, and I just floored it in 3rd. He stopped gaining on me and stayed an even distance behind all the way up to 90MPH!!! I didnt think my car could keep up with one of those monsters, but now I know it can. Now I just need to get my new turbo and cams and whatever else will make me go fast.
