My dad has decided, after months of drooling, to upgrade to a Viggen. I'm excited because I can't wait to peak under the hood. The dilema is this leaves his '97 9000 Aero without a home. This aero has been tinkered with for 4 years. My dad and I put both our cars on the dyno recently and his clocked 293. The list of parts goes on and on. But the real question I have is my SPG. I love my SPG a lot, when mine hit the dyno I got a very rewarding 316hp @5,500rpm. I've been working on this car since I was 14 (I'm now 17) and have put a lot into it. I'm now faced with the opportunity to buy my dad's aero. I've driven the aero a lot and love the handling and the interior. The SPG and the Aero are just about dead even in speed. So I need some opinions, the classic SPG, or the newer sleeker aero? Please let me know what you think.
