Hi,

I am soon to come in to some cash and what to se wht I can do to improvr theperformance of my 9K. Over the past year or s I have replace most of the service parts like ball joints, engine mounts etc...... My auto box hasjust been replace with a rebuild so the only posible weak point is going to be the engine its self. It has just done 200,000 but it seem to be in good condition. I have replaced the DI cart and also the turbo. I want to get some more power out of this car but I dont know hwre to start. I want to ugrade progressivly as I need the car to get to work so with that in mind what do you guys sugest. I have seen I can get a remapped ECU should I start or finish with this ? Also I have injector upgrades, will this give me a higer fuel consuption when driving normally ? I have been looking for some info on lowering, how low and wheel so=izes but I cnt finf either. No where seems to stock wheel in the UK that fit a 9k. I have seen some nice non SAAB branded wheels but only available in 18". If I was to get them re drilled would they fit with out rolling the arches and wht suspencion ugrades will i need to do. Currently its a bit slack as it rolls a bit more than it shoud so some attention is neede there so the way I see it is that I might as well ugrade. I have been in a lowered 9k some years ago and found it to be a very harsh ride, is the way it is ort is it just the shocks/springs that he used. I know there is a compromise on the ride quality but I dont whant to be driving a car that feels like its go no suspencion at all.

If it makes any difference SAAB told me that my car is an AREO ? it does not say this on the log book but it does have the ECO section on the rev counter.

Thanks for your help as always

Mark
