I have owned three 9000t's. my current is a 91 cd turbo with and auto tranny. I have installed koni yellow shocks and lowering springs and the thing handles better than any car that size should, I will race any thing in a turn accept my tires are too big and hit my wells. However My last car, and 86 9000t with the same suspension, car now retired, seemed faster, it was a stick and the apc box was slighlt modified from previous owner( don't worry saab mechanic) and I had a sport exaust system installed. My current car is faster off the line because the turbo kicks in at like 1500 rpm istead of like 3500. I wish my car would wait and let the turbo really rip like the 86. I love my car I just want more power when I want it and not the constant turbo evertime I drive to the store as it is now because I cannot accelerate without it working, I could drive the 86 all over and only let the turbo rip when I wanted to.
