My brother Eric (85SLED) and I spent the afternoon today tweaking our rides. Mine was up first;

Changes made today:

Installed rear drilled rotors. Safety precaution after my major brake fade incident with Jim Miller and Leo Khang.

Installed a replacement of the 20 PSI Turbo BPV, since the old one on there was the same from the days of my super oil blow-by Garrett turbo. When the old one was removed, it was full of oil. The oil must have worn out the diapragm. I had noticed a small hoot noise recently, so that's why.

Replaced the intercooler. Again, oil blow-by had saturated the old one.

Gutted the cat. What a PITA job! I had been freaking out for the last few weeks (ever since someone posted about their cat catching their car on fire) I've been running just a little rich for a while (30# injectors & 3.0 fixed FPR), plus my brother recently gutted his cat to find some melted spots. Well, now the car sounds about a million times better, and the turbo spool up is even better than before.

Which brings me to the ultimate point: At the beginning of the day, my car would hit 15 psi normally, with occassional hops to 16 psi. Today I hit 22 psi after these mods/repairs. The car spins tires in 1st, chirps them in 2nd and third, and hauls @ss in 4th and 5th, too. It is a totally different car now. It is much fun to drive it once again! It had been fun, but not the same of late. The thrill is back. Wahoo!
