If you have never been on the track at Waterford, here are a few tips. DO NOT get your inside wheels on the curbing. I have worked corners there for a few years and have seen more than one car roll. The most spectacular was a VW Golf going into turn 2. He did three complete side roll overs and landed right side up. Not one piece of sheetmetal was straight. As you go into turn 1 right at the end of your braking, the track drops off. It can get your attention. Turn 4, also known as "Hilltop" has a major drop off right after the apex. Hug the curbing (but don't touch it) and feather the throttle as you go downhill. It is a fun track. I suspect they will use pylons to keep the speeds down. Don't bother taking a car with a loud exhaust system. The area around the track has houses real close and so they have to live with very strict noise restaints. I don't know what those people were thinking when they purchase a house 100 feet from the back stretch. Did they think it was a wide golf cart path?!?!
Have fun, drive fast and safe.
