I just did some research on tires a month ago...
When you have some free time, do a search for "tires" on both this BB and the C900 board. You'll find a ton of info, but you'll also discover that tire preference can be subjective, and performance impressions can perhaps be downright wrong: you'll find lots of comments on the 'net along the lines of, "Wow, these tires are *so* much better than my old <insert brand here> pieces of s#@%!!" Well, perhaps, but it's often a comparison between old, worn out tires and brand new ones, which ain't much of a comparison IMHO!
Also check out tirerack.com, which has lots of good information. Once you've narrowed your choices down, go to Google and do searches on those model names/numbers. Many of the results returned are for other car BB threads that have had discussions about them. Generally, I tend to give more credence to reviews or impressions of people with autocrossing experience...
Transferring your tires to 15" SPG's is no problem, however, there aren't many choices in a VR rated tire for 900's.
Lastly, for my own subjective input: I bought a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE 950's (195/60/15) for my 900T, which I am happy with. Because they are a new tire, I was able to find a set from a local shop who'd been offered a deal from his distributor that ended up being cheaper than any online shop...
good luck...
