I have the Group 6 springs on my SPG, and I would recommend them if you have any serious performance handling goals for the car. With -45 or -50 series tires, polyurethane bushings (where available), strong shocks, and a custom alignment, these springs are the basis of a well-sorted c900.
I find the balance to be perfect for the racetrack and on good roads, but there is no doubt that the ride is harsh on typical broken pavement. If you have -50 or -55 series tires, rubber shock bushings, softer shocks (my SPAX adjustables are set to full hard) you may 'civilize' the ride a little bit, but you would lose some precision and quickness. Depends on what you want exactly.
Oh one more thing, with 205-50-16 tires on super aero wheels, I did get some rubbing on all 4 wheel arches, and that is without the wheel arch extensions that are on the later SPG's and body kits. Nothing serious, just polishing. Take it as an indication that these springs are at the maximum drop limit for these cars. With 205/45-16's I don't have any rubbing at all.
