Approx. two years ago, I got a set of Jamex sportsprings (1.75" drop) for about us$200.00. Unfortunately, I don't think Jamex is in business any more- or if they are, they have withdrawn from the US market. They are a progressive rate spring, so the first inch or two of travel is soft, and then they get much stiffer. I also use Koni shocks.
Right now, I'm running 205/50-VR15 tires. They're a little wide for the stock SPG wheels, but they handle well and don't rub.
