A friend has a Apexi computer installed in his 2K eclipse (junk) & has a Apexi engine controller hooked into it. He couldn't get it to work properly on his car & is offering it to me for pretty cheap, $300 actually!
Anyways, I just am not sure if it's worth it or not. I am going to order new fuel injectors in the next few days & this seems to allow me to use them with little side effects. The down side to the Apexi unit vs Haltech, Moteck, SDS is that it only works in 500 rpm increments & here is a link to the unit so please let me know if it's something I should try or not. I will want a more elaborate system on my car when the SPG9 motor arrives but I figure this is something that is a LOT cheaper & could be used on my track car when I save up the $$$ for the better control systems.
Then again, this might be all I need & it's simply CHEAP compared with the other systems!
S-AFC is the model by the way :o)
