First off I would like to tell you all that I do not know much about cars, reading posts from this bulletin board got me hooked on SAAB. I am young and I bought my first car, an SPG, and am in the process of fixing all the little stuff. A very good Saab mechanic in my hometown is working on it right now in fact. He checked through it before I bought it and told me what I needed to do to make it perfect, and I am in the process. Well here is my question, I will try to describe it as well as I can, hopefully someone will understand what I am talking about and offer some advice. The problem I am having is I have found that around 4 thousand RPM the cars seems to not want to go any higher and lurches. The guy at the saab shop told me I need a new motor mount and I have a vaccuum leak. Is this what is causing this possibly or am I in big trouble, something the shop hasnt noticed yet. ANy reply would be appreciated
Thanks
D-Bob
