by turning down the wastegate 1 turn, so now I can use the power =)

Damn it's quick! A friend of mine is a mechanic who specializes in tuning. He uses a marked stretch of road to test the various cars he works on. I let him take a run with the SAAB and he was shocked at how fast it was. The stretch is about 410 meters long. From a standstill it reached 167 km/h compared to a BMW 540i 6spd which could only reach 165 km/h. I was also pretty surprised at that, but it feels pretty damn fast too. Top speed is at least 250 km/h at app. 6000 RPM. I think it could hit 260-265 with aero gearing.

However the extra power has revealed various faults that wasn't obvious before. The bypass valve was a bit tired, so I changed it with the 20 PSI BPV, and worse, the clutch is slipping. If I punch it in 5th the clutch just lets go at 3000 RPM. I was expecting this though because it has felt weak for a long time so it's not a problem.
I'm still very happy with the ECU upgrade.
