Sorry fellas but the:
"He fought the ticket on a technicality, so its a waste of time and he makes cops write more tickets, and it really lying"
is just plain wrong!
Really!
Bryce contested the legality of the evidence admitted by the state. It is done all the time! Especially in 4th amendment cases, and if the state can not prove that the evidence was obtained LEGALLY, then (case law supports this) it is not admissable.
Instead of railing against him think about the importance of these "silly fines," if officers/troopers all over the U.S. were improperly operating RADAR N% of the time many of you would receive tickets that weren't lawful!
Think about it the next time you get cited for being 5 to 10mph over the limit, there is enough error involved with the operation of RADAR that it is possible to be cited for speeding, when you may not have been!
