but, you may have got the right potentiometer. mine did not have fine adjustments. meaning, any small bump or vibration of the unit changed the resistance. but, you'll be ok if you have to turn the dial quite a bit for a big change. just my observations. i played with it for a bit, set it at 300 ohms, ran it a bit, rechecked and the setting had changed. i even tried using loctite to keep it from changing, didn't work. i ended up just using a straight resistor and not worrying about it. it's just one more variable to work with. but, if you can get it to stay set, you'll have another range of adjustability to dial things in better. think of this... if you had a computer that would change the resistance on that wire with rpm and/or boost, you could vary the injector pulse width for a wide range of delivery. it would prevent too much fuel at low rpm and to little high up. it's already been done, something called the unichip. cool concept though. still a rough fix to the complete engine management system though. anyway, good luck.
