Viggen maybe rated at 230 hp and ~260 ft lbs torque but there are a number of variables that will affect the translation of these into 0-60 times. First, temperature and humidity play in big role in turbo performance. Cold dense air gives optimum charge for maximum boast. Hot dry air has opposite effect. Also remember 1st and 2nd gear are torque limited in Viggen. Only when you get to 3rd gear do you have maximum pullng power available. Trick is to maintain delicate balance between traction and optimally getting out of 1st and 2nd gear ASAP while keeping reasonable rpm so that maximum boost is available immediately upon shift to 3rd. Then as previous mentioned all available hp and torque can be utilized. From other posts other factors, such as skill of human driving car, tires, mechanical condition of car, etc., all play a part in achieving lowest 0-60 times. That is why there tends to be a variation between different magazines and testers. Also note that some magazines mention track conditions including temperature, wind, humidity, etc., as part of the test information.
