correctly, Beaudreau said that the BP8ES plugs he was using were eroding at a extremely high rate. So, I guess am uncertain how the illustration of the Eclipse using a certain plug relates to the experimentation going on with ignition timing and spark plugs on SAAB's. In talking with NGK Tech Support, using the correct type of electrode material to prevent pre-mature electrode erosion is important. After reading about Beaudreau's positive results using a plug with one heat range colder, it seems resonable to try some different options. I personally had never considered or even known that there were ignition fine tuning capabilities with different spark plugs. I have on order and will be trying the plugs Tech Support recommended first. They are around $7.00 each which does not seem expensive to me, being used to purchsing the BCP7EV's which most certainly do not cost $.99 each.
