Nice Wheels...

How many miles did you get/have/expect on the Conti Sports that were on it?

When looking at new tires, what other brand/type did you consider.

The Michelin Pilots on my Vigg will likely need replacing by next spring, So I am starting to look over the options out there. I estimate that Tye Pilots will get around 25k, and given the abuse they take when on the front, I think that is ok. If one were to never push the tires, I bet you could easily get 35-40k, but then what would the point be in having a Viggen?

It appears that there are gads of tire choices for less than $150. The Pilots were about $230 a few months ago and are now onsale for $185, but still they are pricey in comarison to other Max tires, including the AVS Sports JP put on.

On the other end of the scale the only "cheap" tire still on my long list, is the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712. At $98 a pop, I could almost afford two sets for the one set of Pilots. Granted these are **cheap** tires and as such I am initially suspect. I read every review in the tirerack site on the tires, and am left still wondering about the nature of these beasts. The one trait that created the most doubt in me, were the comments about the reviewers perception of sidewall flex, but then I have to question their ability to comment on sidewall flex... sure the tire feels different, but is it sidewall flex making the diff.... anywho, I would love to hear feedback from anyone on Kumho tires.

I am also considering most of the better rated tires from the $150 and down range. I am looking at performance and economy as the driving factors.
