I am quite enjoying the discussion regarding the captioned, hope it continues.
Issues that I see: HKS is kind of expensive, well, sort of. Retail is C$740, I could maybe get it for cheaper. Or buy from the US, but it could end up being the same price anyway. If the rev limit can be defeated, and it appears Brad has done so, then use the piggy back to play around with it? HKS recommends a chassis dyno, but would a decent AF gauge (is there such a thing?) or perhaps tuning via EGT would be better, suffice?
OTOH, EIC whether controlled by an Aquamist controller or SDS you have the issue of siting the injector(s). More simple to tune I think, especially the SDS - set the vacuum or boost level you want it to start and then how much. But not RPM related - I take it the Aquamist controller can take RPM into account too? Still, hard stuff issues with installing the injectors in the right location and all that.
In the end, both are the same price, just about. What to do?
