How do you like the WRX? I have a Viggen and test drove a WRX (my friend was thinking of getting one, and we both went). They have similar hp ratings, but the WRX felt anemic compared to the Viggen. I regularly have the ac on and heavy people in the Viggen, and I really don't notice a performance difference from just me and no ac. The WRX on the other hand felt slow. However, we didn't build up rpms before shifting, and the WRX likes higher RPM. The car does handle nicely, but I think the Viggen would thrash it on a dry road course. A wet or snowy road course would be a different story, probably.
It reminds me of the time I test drove a Golf GTI (150 hp 1.8t -- I almost bought this car). The salesman kept saying how fast it was, but I didn't think it was fast. It was nice, but not fast. You floor a Golf, and nothing really happens. You floor the Viggen, and you're pinned back into your seat (assuming your in 2nd or even better 3rd).
I can't imagine what a Corvette Z06 or a Porsche 911 Turbo feels like. 400+hp can probably really pin you back in the seat.
