I've seen your car jeff (on the site of course, and e-mailed you guys about stuff, so from what i've seen, i can figure out how a friggin' pontiac, assuming it was stock beat you, if not stock, i guess it might be "possible" all that i know is that i took on 2 guys in a red mustang SVT cobra and beat the crap out of them in my '90 spg, i found him out in front until about 40mph when he started to lose it a little (he was only a car length ahead) and my turbo was just starting to play around, by the time i hit aqbout 110 to 115, i was about 4 to 6 "saab" lengths ahead, and considering that i was being very easy on my tranny while he was throwing it rather quickly i'm proud of my little red saab, before i installed the abbott racing charge cooler kit, i was able to outrun a 5.0 convertible (thats my most 2nd most recent victory) by using larger intercooler pipes that i think were made of porcelin (i always spell that wrong) a group six k&n intake that replaced the saab trash can intake, and the factory red box apc, i am pretty sure i was producing about 210 to 225 before, so since the charge cooler is supposed to be good for 30 to 60 hp, i figure i am hitting @ least 260 now considering my previous upgrades, i have a 3.3 bar fuel pressure reg. that i'm gonna install this week sometime since i am running higher boost now, and i ordered the balanced oversize injector kit from spg9 (i think it was them, or maybe abbott) next on my list is the atmospheric dump valve from abbott, and e-code headlights from puma, as soon as i come up with 450 bucks that they say it will cost for 2 lights. Anyway, hope you don't get beat again, good luck on your next challenger.
