....of course, whether you want to after receiving the inane insults of their drivers is a whole 'nuther matter.

scenario: friday SB on a certain divided 4lane in da 'burgh, 5pm going into downtown so light traffic. black stang RIGHT behind me. loud rumble indicates aftermarket exhaust, at least. i see a clearing in front and to the right (slow) lane so i gas it and go. he gasses it and goes. it took that F*cker from 25-30 to the top of 4th (over 100) to catch me, and even then i missed my shift to 5th and was slowing for traffic.

then he rolls up and waves his hand like "back down, etc." and says "take that thing to the parts store" so i says "i don't think so, i got 'bout 200K on this buddy, let's see your car do that" he says "i got 125 on this one" i says "well do the math...and why did it take you soooo long to catch me?"

i ended up saying "hey man, you need to relax. i like your car. but you american car guys just hate foreign cars. don't know what it is with you guys. whatever, man." i should have gone into the d*ck thing, but it wasn't really worth all of that.
