My wife bought me the springs for Christmas last year! Finally got them installed yesterday (was going to post last night, but got in rather late).

Car sits noticable lower and, as Pete D. said, "bear hugs" the road. Ride is slightly stiffer, but not intrusively so. I kept the stock shocks and am quite pleased with the results. Nice ride, and nice flat turn-in. I've not done the rear sway-bar as of yet. I wanted to do each mod one at a time and I can tell you the car just STICKS! Between the springs and the previously installed Abbott VRK, I think it's a very well balanced ride.

I drove Chris Paden's (CKPADEN) ride after the sway-bars were doubled up and had Eric (85SLED) drive mine. Though Chris' car has more power (modified Abbott ECU, correct me if I'm wrong Chris, but I think you're at 1.5 bar boost, yes?) because of the handling improvements I could not keep up with Eric in my car on the twisties. Of course it could be that I was being more cautious with Chris' car, but on the tight curves, Eric was pulling me. On the straights though, Chris' car easily caught up.

Chris' car does find vast improvement as well with the dual sways (I also drove it with just the Abbott sway bar installed before we did the dual mod). I can tell you the sways are the next item on the mod list for the suspension. (Viggen intercooler still needs to happen...hee, hee, hee!!!)

Wanted also to thank Eric and Jay for their patience with us yesterday. These guys are true professionals, and great Saab enthusiasts. They were seriously slammed all day yesterday and took the time to work on our cars between others. One poor soul came in with a deer hit to her classic 900 conv. I have no doubt though that Eric and Jay will set her straight...

If you're ever in the D.C. metro area, you have to stop by their humble shop. Alwasy accommodating, and always eager to see the results of modifications....

It's all good. SAS, look forward to an order for a swaybar soon!!!
