one at the clutch and one at the brake. They are identical and have adjustable center shafts. Both snap in place and can be removed easily if you are careful. There is a vacuum line and an electrical connector on each as well. These switches don't fail that often, but they do go out of adjustment.
Remove the switch being careful not to break the ears that hold it in place. Once it's free (you don't have to remove the electrical and vac connections) grab the center shaft and pull firmly outward. You'll hear a clatter like running a knife over a comb's teeth as it extends to full length. Put it back and the switch will self adjust to the pedal. Repeat for the other switch.
