Great time at Viking Automotive Saturday. Michael G., CKPaden, and of course Mike, Eric, and Jay all there for a day of tuning upgrades!
Happy to say, thanks to Dean's earlier posts and suggestions, the SAS swaybar was a very quick, uneventful upgrade. 10 minutes. I kid you not. But then, I had already bought several sets of bolts of varying sizes, just in case. Plus I had the benefit of Viking's lift. Up the rack, swap the bar, off the rack, done.
The IC, obviously, was much more involved. Took about two, maybe three hours to do, but very straight forward.
I've taken plenty of pics (sorry, film, not digital. It'll take a while to finish the last roll, develop, and scan to a server...) and plan to do a write-up of the process to post here. Stay tuned...
The IC is awesome! Chris, sorry we ran out of time before we could tackle your car. If interested, lets look at this weekend! We could do it here at the house, or at Viking, whatever is best for you...
I think I'm "done": Abbott ECU, Abbott Springs, Abbott Viggen Rescue Pack, SAS swaybar, AutoMeter boost gauge, Zimmerman Cross drilled front rotors, Forge BPV, Viggen Intercooler. What else is there?
I need a new project car!
Jim M.
