Because I am a driver of the aforemention vehicle :) But yes, in saying that, Buying one would make sense, probably much easier than converting one, or is it. Dont know :)
So you say the turbo only feeds one of the banks? How can that possibly be the case, as the inlet manifold does not separate the two banks. Or does the V6 Turbo have a different manifold? Does it still have the twin throttle body?
Its only recently that I discovered the Omega lump could be found in so many places and I was particularly interested in the fact that Saab fit them with turbos. The V6 in the Omega suffers from a lack of torque under 3500rpm, which is what I imagine the turbo tries to address.
Perhaps what i find most strange is the fact that, according to Ukcar.co.uk (who are never that accurate anyway!) quote the 95 V6T as delivering 200bhp, which is 10bhp less than the unit can produce without the turbo. Is this sacrificed for increased torque? (What is the torque figure for the turbo?)
If you know of any sites that can expand my mind in this direction that would be appreciated.
Cheers
