I also have pondered this. I drive a 9000t and there is not much room there, same with the ng900. I used to have a classic 900 and my friend has one now too. These cars do have the room to make it work. Probably the way I would have done it would be to have cut the exhaust mannifold in half at the flange. Leave one half with the pipes aiming down and flip the other half upside down so the pipes are facing up. You would need to weld a new flange on the end of each of these to bolt the turbos to but this setup would give you the clearance to make it work. However, realize that you are only going to be getting exhaust gas from two cylinders which would result in roughly two turbos, half the size of the original if you wanted quick spool up. But then when you get into higher rpm's these will become very short of breath, so the whole idea could be really stupid but still fun to try if you had an engine that you didnt care about.
