I've read a lot of favourable opinions of these here, and a small amount of unfavorable opinion. If you are talking about the recently discontinued D60 A2's, I have to say that IMHO they are dreadful... they came on 2 pf the last 3 cars I bought (fitted by the previous owners). My first experience of them was on a Volvo 940 T, and one of them (left front), without any warning, mysteriously deflated on the highway. Fortunately I was only gong 55 or so, one minute later could have been 75... Then when I found my Porsche, it also had these fitted... now neither of these cars are reknowned for ability in snow, rain or good manners on even a dry road for that matter, but in both cases I found there were many better options than the Dunlops. From Tirerack, you should be able to get some nice Yokohamas for under $400 after adding fitting. The Kuhmos could be an interesting choice, and I've read a lot of good stuff about them. I've never thought of Cooper as a performance tire, but their regular tires are definitely great value, and good all rounders. BTW, I posted a message for you in the Maserati thread below, follow-up to you A1 GTi post.
