There are many ECU upgrades, the general consensus is that those from the Swedish tuners are the best, but there are others better informed than I am. A Manual Boost Controller is another possibility. If you are upping the power, you will almost definitely want to install the Abbott Racing Viggen Rescue Kit, which runs about $7-800 + install $400-ish. There is a less expesive kit from one of the Swedish tuners which does much the same thing for less $$$ You can probably gain 10 bhp from a cat back exhaust, another 10 if you replace the downpipe and cat ($$$$$$) I am not aware of any short-shift kits for any SAAB - and it is probably just as well there are none available, because SAAB transmissions are the weak link - regular speed-shifting can toast a 'box in no time. One thing that can be replaced are mounts: poly are much stiffer than the stock rubber and will improve shift feel and accuracy. You will probably get a response from Dean: if you don't, post a message for him here or on the NG 900 board - he owns a nicely modded NG 900 T and he has probably forgotten more about these cars than most people will ever know. Welcome to the world of SAAB!
