Agreed with RedSPG18... I've tested compression on all my cars and even the highest mileage ones haven't been noticably off from spec... even my '88 9000T w/220k on it was still ~150 dry and ~180 wet.
Anyway, my personal preference for ignition is Magnecor wires and Beru Silverstone spark plugs. I use that setup combined with a Bosch Red Coil in both NA and Turbo cars (currently in five of them) and the results speak for themselves. Not the cheapest route, but durability is pretty high on this stuff, and there is a tangible performance benefit.
After you've got the ignition taken care of, look into more fuel. I'd recommend a RRFPR personally, but that's your call. Decide how much boost you want to run ultimately, then pick up some injectors to match. 24#/hr injectors should be just fine for 15-18psi, which is personally my cutoff since boost above that doesn't do much good without a good IC setup and, IMHO, an investment in aftermarket fuel injection... And you can easily get those boost levels messing with your own APC.
As for the exhaust manifold, currently your options there are very limited, and all originate in Sweden. You can do well polishing your own manifold, but more than may be more trouble than it's worth right now. I think given the cost associated with that you'd be better off upgrading the turbo first. Of course, if you haven't done so already moving the battery to the trunk to accomodate a wide-radius 3" downpipe is a solid investment as well.
Oh, finally - try and find some of the later, larger aluminum intake pipes. Two pieces, you can get 'em from a wreck or imitations (that are just as good) from SPG9. Well worth having - a definite purchase early on in the upgrade cycle, unless you plan on engineering a FMIC for yourself.
