A note to Dean: While that gauge you linked to sounds nice in theory, in my car it would do absolutely squat. My O2 sensor never reads as higher than the first one, maybe two LEDs. It also doesn't show you when you're running lean, only when you are running rich. From many months using my autometer, it's not safe to assume that if you aren't running full rich, that you are running full lean. Anyhoo..
Gregg, where did you hear LEDs wear out over time? LED are a solid state device, and as such last much longer than the typical incandescent light bulb you have in the rest of your car's lighting. Think transistors vs vacuum tubes. You're quite correct about the A/F gauge sending folks to the dark side, however. Once you put one in, you'll be troubleshooting all kinds of problems that extra boost will make more evident - bad TPS, bad AMM, not enough fuel..
