Also, browse other pictures at this web site. There are other intake pictures, as well as throttle body transistion. You can also see the throttle body pics also via the thread 29988 below.
See this for thread on throttle body rework:

The funnel costs about $1.59 or something trivial like that. I cut about 6" off of it, and then heat postformed it to enlarge the opening to be a press fit onto the boss that projects from the air box. The 15" long snorkle that inserts well into the air box, can be pulled out with lots of force, pulling and twisting at the same time. This will be easier with when warm. A hair drier might work well. Post forming the polypropylene funnel was a real struggle. Tooling is required. I am still comtemplating this. The result is interesting, because you simply stick it on.
The large opening of the funnel will have less entrance losses compared to the 3.5" opening of REM's solution, but the funnel created high velocities at its narrow point, which will create dynamic losses, as the kinetic engergy created by the velocity is loss and is not recovered as pressure as the air is slowed down in the air box. So REM's solution is probably superior. If the tube used by REM was heat post formed to create a better entrance, that would be better yet.
