They have a nice tone. However I'm not very familiar with their configurations of size and diameter. Do they have a straight through 3" core application?

Dynomax has several applications to choose from. The Ultraflow series is not raspy, but the reverse flow type (I think it's called the "turbo style") is very raspy.

Be forewarned that Dynomax units are fairly loud in other applications, I have never heard one on a Saab.

I will be using the Magnaflow 5x8x18" unit with 3" perforated core. We are going to try and fit the 5x11x22" RV unit (Same core) for lower sound output. Magnaflow mufflers in my experience have a deep tone and are not that loud, especially on turbo cars. I'll take some sound files inside and outside once the system is on this Monday.

In regards to the Flowmaster, I'll say again, they are great for NA cars but not a good choice for turbo cars. On a turbo car you want max flow in regards to CFM and don't really care about resonance tuning as the turbine kills anything you can utilize from engine pulses.

How much is it hurting you? I really can't say for sure. It depends on how much power you are making. I would *guess* that the Flowmaster on your application is no more free flowing than the factory reverse flow muffler. The Flowmaster is actually downright restrictive when talking straight CFM.

Hope that helps.
