my SPG indefinitely. I am getting him repainted next week!
Also, Dave @ SPG9 has graciously agreed to upgrade my Group6 box to a SPG9 Stage II box for a modest cost, so by the end of next week or perhaps the following one, I'll have a great looking and fast SPG! It's already fast, but with the Stage II it should be awesome!
Mike H. (WASSAAB) is going to make some intriquing modification to the Vacuum Distributor and in conjunction with everything else, I should be able to hold darn close to 20 PSI. I already have a new trans, so I should be good for a while!
Just for fun, here's an abbreviated list of my mods:
Engine/turbo:
24 ford motor sport injectors;
3.0 bar fpr;
K&N open air;
BPC restrictor mod;
throttle body mod;
viggen blow off valve;
Stage II box (soon);
painted exhaust manifold (good for at least 5 hp!);
Trans:
93 trans;
new clutch kit;
synchro shift ii;
Suspension:
bilsteins all around;
poly shock bushings;
Tires/wheels/brakes:
9K CSE rims (refinished by me and straightened by Ye Olde Wheele Shoppe);
Cooper Cobras (not bad!);
Zimmermann cross drilled and vented rotors;
upgraded pads (forgot what they are);
Super Blue ATE brake fluid;
red painted calipers (must be another 2-3 hp there);
Inside:
push button starter;
JVC El Kameleon 180 watt head unit;
12 disc changer;
2x200 watt amp'ed subs;
switch to override power antenna;
seat heater switch for pass. seat;
new dash and fascia;
custom (by me) black carpet;
custom (by me) black door inserts;
custom (by me) black privacy shelf;
Ford cupholder/coinholder in upper din slot.
Just about everything that was beyond my capability to do was done by Viking Auto in MD.
Anyway, I'll post pics when I get the car back!
