The Intrax & Bilstein FPS combo is an excellent improvement. Handles like a go-kart! Eric (85SLED) runs just Bilstein FPSs on his 86 2dr, and really likes them. Combined with the Intrax, the ride is superb. I was worried about it being an overly harsh ride, but it is not. The ride is still quite comfortable while handling quality is greatly increased.

Wheelspin when launching from a stop is almost completely eliminated (helps to have the Michelin Pilot Sports on there, too!). The front sits level (finally) as well.

As far as the molasses boost problem, we turned the wastegate actuator rod in one half turn (shortened). This seems to be the ideal setting, as max boost is lower (20 psi) wihle spool up is back to normal. I would still be interested in taking it back to 18 psi, but I'm happy with 20 for now. We'll see how long this turbo lasts at that setting! Many thanks to everyone for your suggestions.
