i 've reused them. they seem to be very surdy, i find that the threads get a little worn and i am more concerned with stripping the hole due to decreased mesh. they are actually pretty cheap. it this is the firs time off then you are probably safe. if you do not have a micrometer/caliper that big just clamp some nuts to a straightedge ( buttted to a bolt) and check relative length. clean the block threads thoroughly. i use a gun brush on a drill with gumout. air blast it dry if possible.
New bolts are actually prety cheap. going with arp would be a nice touch.
when doing a head gasket i use gaskacinch to tack it together. lots of opinions on using a sealer on the head gasket but gaskacinch is more of a prep than anything. when torqueing i bring it down flatter than teh book does. i take it to 15 with dry bolts, then pull one by one and dip the bolt in oil. do not use antisieze. a dab of teflon grease on washer sides. then i retorque to 15,30,40,50,65 then final pull 90 degree pull. the late model do not need a retorque. that what stretch bolts are for.
i used this technique with my copper gasket and was so pleased witht he results that it is now standard fare. lengthy but less head stress and no pinching at all
