This was mentioned when I first got my Mitsubishi turbo on the car; I was told that SPG9 had something in the works for the Mitsu downpipe... that was 10 months ago! It sounded appealing then... sounds appealing now.... The Trent Saab wastegate actuator that I use (as testy as it is) is a major factor in how my car runs now, and I would like to keep it as a part of my system if possible. Does an external work the same way?
I have another Mitsubishi turbo on the shelf that I *might* bolt on soon. Like I said, I have some additional investigating to do as to the oil blow by before I go swapping out turbos.
I can't imagine it has THAT big of an effect, but what about grinding down the inner exhaust manifold nub? Would that help in the interim (until the downpipe is available)?
Many thanks for the link.
Mike
