As Vince T. stated above, the 2.3 9000 engine is a "straight up" engine, while your 2.0 engine in your C900 is angled. So, if you are OK with cutting a big hole in your C900 hood, this is not a problem.
But, now you must deal with the fact that the added stroke of the 2.3 engine will smash into the inside of your transmission case. The 9000 2.3 motor has a conventional oil pan, while your C900 uses the transmission case as a sump.
If you must have added displacement, consider a 2.1 motor (bolts right in) or have your 2.0 bored to 2.1 or 2.2 liters.
