this makes me wonder now. if the amm signal is dropped and the o2 signal is used, the ecu would be constantly adjusting the injectors pulse width to bring down 'rich' condition at wot.
if not, then putting in larger injectors increases fuel delivery, but does nothing for injector duty cycle at closed loop (preset maps with assumed stock boost). meaning if you are at 100% duty cycle with stock injectors, you will also be at 100% duty cycle with 30# injectors. make sense?
i guess the reason i thought the o2 signal was ignored was because that's what the autometer a/f gauge pamphlet stated. it said that at wot you will see green because the o2 sensor is ignored by the ecu and no longer adjusts fuel mixture, thus allowing it to run rich. interesting if both amm and the o2 sensor are ignored at wot, it is quite the rudimentary system huh?
