Well my old 760 had anyhow. I am not sure how come, but VOLVO seemed surprised that I was surprised.
I would be interested to find out how your SAAB drives after your mods. I haven't got any figures on kerb weight, but based on looks alone, the Volvo 760 seems a heavier car. So your SAAB should be a flyer afterwards.
