I put them into the Saab for drivers schools. I used Sparco clubman harnesses with the removable hook and 3 out of the 4 mounting points are easy. They are the shoulder mounts to the rear seat and the outboard lap belt. The eyebolts mount right where the stock seatbelt bolt in, just remove the existing Tor-X bolts and screw in the eye-bolt. The problem arose with mounting the inboard lap belt. Normally you use the stock mounting location, where the buckle attaches to the seat. However, there wasn't enough room to fit the eye-bolt without serious rubbing of the carpet and tunnel. If you NEVER adjust the fore/aft travel of the seat then it might work. Also, if you buy the kind that permanently attaches the harness to the mounting location (that is until you remove the bolts and put the original bolts back in) them there is probably enough room to use the buckle anchor.

What I did was replaced the rear inboard bolt that attaches the seat track to the vehicle with a long shoulder bolt and nut. I ran the nut up to the end of the threads and then bolted the seat track back into the vehicle. The shoulder need to be long enough to attach the anchor hook to the bolt. Not too long or you run the risk of bending the shaft of the bolt.

Now for the legal type warning. The above mentioned approach is not necessarily the best solution, although lots of race cars anchor their seatbelts in a similar fashion. BTW, in reality the other 3 mounting points are anchored in a similar fashion. Now in a high g crash this bolt (actually all of the bolts) is subject to higher stresses than the normal bolt, partially due to increased bending stresses. Does that confuse you? OK, what I'm saying is to use the highest strength bolt you can find, Class 12.9 is a good place to start. And that if you hit a wall head-on at 60 mph the bolt MIGHT fail.

Like I said this is what I did, I'm not claiming it is the only (or even smart) way of doing this!
