Really sounds like only base boost. Since all you played with is the apc box I would unplug it then plug it back in. Make sure it snaps in. I would also check the apc fuse in the fuse panel. (#10 I think). Then from personal experience (Did this on a friends 85 spg last week) make sure you didn't blow anything loose. On my friends car we blew the "hooter valve" of the bypass hose from the intake. Just an idea or two for you. Then as others have said check the connection to the knock sensor and apc solonoid, the pedal switches and the cruise control switch for the apc.( Its located by the apc box and it gives you only base boost when the cruise it activated. 2 wire plug and it has a hose connected to the cruise control vacuum pump. It goes open when cruise is active (vacuum on the hose). Unplug it and jump the wires and go on a test drive.
