As you posted awhile back the Ford Focus is using the same bolt pattern as the Classic 900. The limiting factor is that the normal wheel size is a 16x7 or 17x7 w/ a 40mm offset which would not normally fit. After relocating my axle, I just currently mounted 18x7.5 33mm in the rear w/ 225/40 series tires. Interestingly enough I only have slight rubbing on the outsider fenderwell on hard turning. I think this is the result of my 6 year old G6 lowering springs that I have overweighted too many times and the 225/40 series tire. The prob was easily fixed w/ airlifts. If you do the calculations you'll see a 18x7 40mm rim should fit ok after relocating the axle and there shouldn't be rubbing on the trail arm or the outside fenderwell. I looked at my setup pretty closely to find that after relocating your axle it's possible to run a 17x7 40mm rim!!! The tire size would be restricted to 40-45 series 205-215 though.

One uncertainty is that I was using a 91 900 axle on an 86 900. There was a rumor that the 91 axle is longer than the other years. I just recently swapped out the axle w/ an 88-90 due the rightside of the 91 being bent w/ positive camber and toe out. I haven't actually drove the car yet or have aligned to see the results.
